Two teenagers have been charged with capital murder for the drive-by shooting death of a 12-year-old girl who was shot and killed Wednesday while she slept.

Birmingham police said Ja’Von Eric Wilson, 19, and Jarei Lamar Vance, 18, both of Birmingham, have been charged with capital murder in the death of Audriana Pearson.

Pearson was sleeping when the suspects allegedly fired into her residence.

Both suspects were being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
