Alabama police are investigating after a man reportedly put someone else’s child in his shopping shopping cart at a Walmart.

Attalla police said the incident happened around noon on Thursday.

Reportedly an older white man, who police determined from security footage was a truck driver, picked up a small child from the mother’s shopping cart and placed the child in his own car.

The mother immediately became alarmed and retrieved the child as the man headed tout of the store.

Attalla police said they are working with several state agencies to locate this driver to interview.
