An ex-high school teacher and coach accused of having sexual relations with an underage student has not had bond restrictions removed which had limited his contact with the victim have been removed because the pair were married last month.

Thomas Blake Tucker’s attorneys successfully argued the restrictions limiting contact should be lifted after the pair were married November 6. A judge agreed.

Tucker had worked as a Limestone coach and teacher. He was arrested in September on charged with being a school employee engaged in a sex act with a student.

He later resigned from his position.

When he was released his bond was conditional on his not having contact with the victim, yet they managed to get married.

A grand jury will decide if he’s to be put on trial or not.
