An Alabama native was among the victims who were shot in the mass shooting at a Chesapeake, Virginia, Walmart store, a TV station reported.

WSFA-TV reports that Sarah Walker grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, and had moved to Virginia with her family.

She was working at the Walmart store in Chesapeake, Virginia, when suspected shooter Andre Bing 31, begen opening fire inside the store.

Walker was shot multiple times, family said, and is in critical condition.

Six people inside the store were killed, several others like Walker were shot, but survived.

The alleged gunman apparently took his own life as police arrived.
