An Alabama mother has sued the owner of a pornography website after the site allegedly showed a video of the woman’s 12-year-old being sexually assaulted — hundreds of thousands of times, federal court documents indicate.

The woman filed the lawsuit against MindGeek, which owns Pornhub a site on which user view and share pornographic video.

“Make no mistake – this lawsuit does not concern the voluntary act of consensual sex between adults, with the distribution occurring through their consent,” the lawsuit alleges. “The victims depicted in these images were obviously children. The dissemination of these videos to millions of viewers across the world continued notwithstanding law enforcement’s pleas to take them down because they contained child pornography.”

The multi-count lawsuit alleges that the site profited from the child sex trafficking of the 12-year-old.

The man who posted the videos to the site, Rocky Shay Franklin, 36, of Greenville, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for multiple child sex abuse charges.

Franklin was reportedly living with the child victim’s mother at the time of the abuse and reportedly coerced two juveniles to engage in sexually explicit behavior while he recorded the acts.
