Police are investigating after a dead body was found in an Alabama watershed area, a local TV station reported.

Mobile police have begun an investigation into the matter after a body was found near Government Boulevard in the Montlimar Canal, part of the Dog River watershed, WKRG-TV reported.

Police are not sure if the death was caused by foul play or natural causes.
