Alabama man on tractor struck, killed by Cadillac driving on state highway

An Alabama man driving a farm tractor was killed Friday when a motorist rand into the back of him, troopers reported.
The two-vehicle crash involved a farm tractor driven by a Red Level, Alabama, man identified as William L. Skipper, 64.
At approximately 3 p.m. Friday, Skipper was rear-ended while operating a John Deere farm tractor on Alabama highway 55, less than one mile south of Red Level in Covington County.
The motorist was identified as Ken L. Fitzpatrick, 47, of Brentwood, Tenn., who was driving a 2011 Cadillac ESC.
Skipper was pronounced deceased at the scene.
