Five people, including two juveniles, who allegedly conspired to rob a south Alabama man who was found dead of multiple gunshots last year were charged with murder, authorities said Wednesday.

Houston County officials told a news conference that Cierra Lushanda Goodson, 34; Mykeila Tyronese-Ariann Rowser, 22; and Elijah Patrick Hazell, 18, were charged with capital murder in the killing of Hardy Lynn Gray, 58, of Pansy, news outlets reported. The man was found dead in his mobile home on Nov. 29.

Two juveniles, ages 16 and 17, were charged with murder but police didn’t release their names because of their ages.

Goodson was familiar with Gray, and she and the others were charged in a scheme to rob the man at his home, where he lived alone, Sheriff Donald Valenza said.

Court records were not immediately available to show whether any of the three adults had lawyers who could speak on their behalf.
