The Power of Life Foundation is founded by Lane Harper, Executive Director, and Teresa Berger, Associate Director, as a movement to save lives.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 virus and its variants, the Foundation’s mission has been focused on encouraging people to become vaccinated, to continue protecting others, providing free nutritional food to underserved populations, and distributing free face masks and sanitizers to vaccine-hesitant populations.

I3 Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school located in the heart of the Woodlawn community of Birmingham, Alabama. Serving kindergarten through fifth-grade students, I3 Academy is the largest charter school in the state with 420 students enrolled.

The three Is–imagine, investigate, innovate–are the foundation of our philosophy and guide us toward our mission: to empower learners to become agents of change who solve the problems they see in their world.
This event is sponsored by Walmart, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Soles4Souls, State Representative Louise Alexander, Alabama Leadership Foundation, Buffalo Rock Pepsi, Reebok, Hanes Brands, Councilor Kevin Dunn, Peabody Party Rental and Enterprise Rental Cars.
