An Alabama man has been arrested in a deadly shooting nearly four years after it occurred, al.com reported.

Willie Richard Williams, 36, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on Monday on a capital murder charge in the slaying of Laronald McDaniel, 21. McDaniel died at a hospital after being shot outside a home near Bessemer in January 2018.

Ebone Sade Russell Malone, 34, was arrested in the killing in 2018, and her trial is set for May. McDaniel was shot to death while in a car, court records show.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Williams in McCalla on Monday on a warrant signed earlier this month. Court records weren’t available Tuesday to show whether Williams had an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
