An apparent domestic incident Friday left four people dead in Alabama, authorities said.

Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry confirms it happened at or near a home off Hwy. 80 in Phenix City.

Russell County Chief Assistant District Attorney Rick Chancey said the deceased included three adults, one of whom was pregnant, and an unborn child, WRBL-TV reported. The names of the victims have not yet been released.

Chancey described the crime as a domestic incident. Investigators believe a domestic dispute led to multiple rounds being fired inside the home. Several shell casing were found, authorities said.
