A man was shot and killed near a sports bar in Mobile over the weekend, authorities said.

The 22-year-old man died after being shot near the Stadium Sports Bar Saturday night, Al.com reported.

Police say they responded to the bar on Airport Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m.

Officers discovered the victim, Kelon M. Foster, who had been shot several times, Mobile police Officer Katrina Frazier said. He died later at a hospital.
