Alabama police were henpecked with jokes when they asked the public for help in finding a stolen Chick-fil-A van on social media Wednesday.
“Good grief….now we got us nugget-bandit on the loose. What next??” one commenter posted.
“That’s basically like stealing the Popemobile. That is the Lords car!” another replied.
Many of the Chick-fil-A faithful continued with the religious theme:
“Stealing the Chariot that delivers the Lord’s Chicken is going to get someone struck down.” one joked.
Others placed the blames on the competition:
“Colonial Sander’s taken his revenge!”, one posted.
Whoever is to blame, Huntsville Police say they need the public’s help finding the 2020 Kia Soul that was stolen on Friday, July 23rd from the store location on South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville.
The restaurant has two identical Kia Souls and only one was taken. The stolen vehicle has Alabama tag 47A5R36.
If you have information on the vehicle, call the Huntsville Police at 256-722-7100.
