A pedestrian killed by a vehicle near Birmingham has been identified as a 28-year-old woman from Alabaster, authorities said Friday.

Elizabeth Marie Hull was killed in the crash early Thursday morning, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said.

The crash happened before dawn on an entrance ramp along Interstate 459 in Bessemer, Lt. Christian Clemons told Al.com.
Hull was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle stopped after the crash and waited for police to arrive, the news site reported.
