A 74-year-old Alabama woman was found in her wheelchair at the bottom of her swimming pool in south Alabama, police said.

A family member found the woman on Monday at her home in Mobile in what’s believed to have been an accidental drowning, Al.com reported.

Emergency crews were able to get the woman out of the pool, and she was taken to a hospital, but later died of her injuries.

Authorities say they don’t know how long the woman may have been in the water before help arrived.

Her name wasn’t immediately released.
