Man charged with murder after argument over victim’s wife turns deadly

An Alabama man has been charged with murder after an argument about a woman turned deadly.
Thaddeus Leashore, of Orrville,, was arraigned for the murder of Isiah Simmons Jr. on the Fourth of July at the 1800 block of Bienville Street.
Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong set Leashore’s bond at $1 million and charged with murder.
Simmons was taken to the hospital and later died from his gunshot wounds
“Simmons was struck by a bullet and died a short time later,” Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said the two men were arguing over a woman, the victim’s wife.
Witnesses said that a suspect was driving a vehicle, pulled up, Leashore stepped out of the vehicle and shot Simmons.
