Alabama officials say an early Sunday morning crash has killed two people — including a teenager — and injured three others.

The crash on Alabama 159 near Gordo occurred shortly before 6 a.,m. according to officials with the ALEA.

Officials say an adult male was driving a 2018 Dodge Ram that crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado which was filled with a group of teenagers.

Gary Randall Carver, 59, of Gordo, who driving the Dodge Ram and a teenager who was a passenger in the Silverado were pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the teenager from Northport has not been reported.

The teenage driver of the Silverado and two other teen passengers were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
