An Alabama man was killed Sunday when the ATV he was driving overturned in a roadside ditch.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division, Troy Dewayne Hall, 49, of Red Level in Covington County was operating a Honda ATV on the shoulder of the roadway when the ATV struck a ditch and overturned.

The incident occurred on Maddox Road, approximately 4 miles west of the Red Level city limits, at 7:35 p.m.

No further details are available as State Troopers continue to investigate.
