Mobile police say a man got so angered in an argument with another man Wednesday night that he took a city bus to buy pepper spray and then returned to use it — only to be cut in the process.
Police say at approximately 12:05 p.m., two men were involved in a verbal dispute in the area of the Circle K located at 4362 Government Street. The police did not identify the men.
In a news release, the second man in the dispute (police called the subject) pulled a knife out and threatened the first man (who police called the victim). During the dispute, the victim broke the subject’s phone.
The victim then used city bus transportation to go to a nearby Target to purchase pepper spray and then returned to the area and pepper sprayed the subject in his face. While being pepper-sprayed, the subject retrieved his knife and cut the victim.
