A North Alabama police department is searching for a man who robbed a local doughnut shop.

The Decatur Police Department is asking the public for help in the search for a man who entered the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop on Beltline Road at around 7:08 a.m. on Sunday. The man, who was brandishing a firearm and wearing a face mask, left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.
