State surpasses 100,000 coronavirus cases; up 875 cases on Wednesday

Alabama now has more than 100,000 coronavirus cases.

The Alabama Department of Public Health’s numbers posted Wednesday show 100,801 cases, an increase of 875 from the day before. The state has had 1,814 deaths, up 33 from yesterday.

ADPH data shows 1,506 current COVID hospitalizations and 37,923 people who are presumed to have recovered from coronavirus.
