Two people have been charged with capital murder in the death of a missing teen who was found fatally stabbed.

Jonathan Cordova, 19, and a 17-year-old were booked into jail Wednesday in Montgomery, news outlets reported.

Maryuri Aleman Cantillano, 17, was found dead last month, about two weeks after she went missing. The fatal stabbing stemmed from an argument, Montgomery police spokeswoman Capt. Saba Coleman said.

It was unclear whether Cordova or the 17-year-old had attorneys who could comment on their behalf.
