Mother nature appears to be putting together an Easter Sunday recipe for severe weather in parts of Alabama.

Alabama meteorologist James Spann reports that all of the ingredients for a potential outbreak of severe weather appear to be coming together for the southern half of the state Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.

Tornadoes, some strong, widespread wind damage and large hail all look possible. As of Thursday morning, central and southern Alabama is under an enhanced risk for severe weather Sunday, however that threat level could be increased.

Please make a plan now to keep you and your family safe this Easter weekend.
