Alabama coronavirus cases and associated deaths pass symbolic level; see county by county results

Alabama Public Health officials say the number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases and associated deaths in the state are continuing to grow. Wednesday morning the number of cases passed a symbolic level — 1,000.

Wednesday morning, the state confirmed 1,000 people in Alabama have tested positive for the coronavirus that is causing a global pandemic. The death toll of reported deaths stood at 24.
