Little brother charged after allegedly hitting older sibling in head with machete during fight

An Alabama man has been charged with second-degree assault after police say he attached is brother with a machete.

Scottsboro Police report officers were called to a residence at approximately 4:19 p.m. Wednesday for a fight in progress.

When officers arrived, they found Bryan Hodges, 55, of Scottsboro with large cuts on his head. Investigation revealed that Bryan’s brother Vaughn Hodges, 44, also of Scottsboro, had struck the victim in the head with a machete during a fight.

Police report Bryan Hodges was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
