Officers in Alabama shot and killed a suspect during a domestic-related call early Monday morning, according to news reports.

One person died but no officers were injured in the shooting in Marshall County, Assistant Chief Deputy Steve Guthrie told news outlets.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that its deputies and officers with Albertville, Boaz and Douglas police departments were involved in the shooting just outside Albertville.

The State Bureau of Investigation was on the scene Monday morning.
