Three Alabama men arrested, charged with trying to sexually exploit child

After several weeks of investigation, three men are under arrest for attempting to sexually exploit a child.
Covington County sheriff Blake Turman said through a lengthy comprehensive investigation, the Covington County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division, have arrested three men regarding attempted sexual exploitation of a child.
“The investigation was a collaborative effort and took several weeks to complete,” Turman said. “This type of investigation can be exhausting with the man-hours involved to include working around the clock, in addition to working a regular investigations schedule.”
Randy Earl Bryant, 42, of Dozier, Ala., was arrested and charged with one count of Electronic Solicitation of a child and is being held on a $60,000 bond.
Bogdan Kevyn Little, 19, of Greenville, Ala., was arrested and charged with one count of Electronic solicitation of a child and one count of transmitting obscene material to a child by computer. He was held on a $120,000 bond.
Andrew Karl Halford, 31, of River Falls, Ala., was arrested and charged with one count of Electronic Solicitation of a child and two counts of Transmitting obscene material to a child by computer. He is being held on a $180,000 bond.
The cases will now be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for pending prosecution.
Sheriff Turman said the investigation was methodical and demanding.
“I am proud of the investigators and their accomplishments,” Turman said. “We must protect our children and this investigation was a real eye-opener. I foresee more of these type investigations in the future.”
