An Alabama teen father was arrested this week and charged with child abuse after investigators say his 3-month-old daughter was found with multiple broken bones, including 22 broken ribs.

Police charged Dashun Montae Bush, 19, of Wilsonville, Alabama, with felony aggravated child abuse.

Investigators allege that on multiple occasions while Bush was caring for the child, the baby sustained injuries. Those injuries include a broken arm and leg along with 22 broken ribs, in various stages of healing, indicating they happened at different times.

The child is now in state custody, state media reported.

He was released on $60,000 bond.
