New Montgomery restaurant plans competition to find new chefs; Do you have what it takes?

Auburn restaurant Pannie-George’s Kitchen will be opening its second location in Montgomery, Alabama, in late January.

The restaurant is seeking five chefs between both locations and will be hosting a cook-off competition in partnership with the Alabama Department of Labor and Carver High School’s Culinary Arts Department. 

A total of 12 contestants will be accepted.

This exciting cook-off competition will be held at Carver High School at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. 

The grand prize winner will secure the position of Chef De Cuisine and the four additional winners will be awarded Sous Chef positions under the guidance of Executive Chef Sidney Corum.
