An Alabama doctor already under indictment for allegedly producing child pornography was charged this week with three more counts of child porn production.

Vestavia Hills physician Dr. Ronald Tai Young Moon Jr. was initially indicted in June with a single county of producing child pornography between 2007 and 2010 and one count of producing child pornography in January of this year.

The new charges, announced by U.S. Attorney Jay E. Town and FBI Special Agent in Charge Johnnie Sharp, Jr. allege Moon also produced child pornography in the 1990s and early 2000s.

The new indictment also includes a charge of possession of child pornography.

Moon is a physical medicine doctor who practices at a clinic called The Industrial Athlete in Birmingham.

Each count of production of child pornography carries a penalty of 15 to 30 years in prison, and a maximum $250,000 fine. The maximum penalty for each count of possession of child pornography is 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
